What To Get For That Someone Who Has Everything

Tired of noisy toys and stuff you don't know what to do with when Christmas is over? I think this is a great alternative to stuff stuff and stuff. And it promotes a sense of stewardship and global awareness.

Wonderful ideas. I suppose I am always somewhat skeptical of organizations that want to save the planet or all of humanity, not that that is a bad idea. I always wonder how much of my contribution actually gets to the intended cause. Beside church sponsored organizations, I have given to the Make-A-Wish foundation. With St. Judes children hospital in our town, they have a very high profile becuase of the wishes they grant to very sick or terminally ill children.
I suppose I should give from the heart and let the administrators of the various organizations answer for themselves come judgement day.

Merry Christmas.

This is a wonderful idea. Great links! Aunt P and Uncle S suggested to the "grown-ups" (being the parent-children) that instead of the $50-$75 they spend on the sibs for Christmas, to give it to an orphanage they know about in Africa for food during the holidays. 100% goes to the chillins and they won't starverate.
Aunt P said with the food they are given, they only eat a tiny bit at a time so they can enjoy it longer. How would it be to feel the need to savour every last morsel instead of eating as fast as you can so your stomach won't know it's full until the fifth time around?
